How long have you been in the beauty business? I've been in the beauty business for 3 years.

Where are you from, and where do you currently reside? I am born, raised, and currently reside in San Francisco, CA.

When did you first fall in love with makeup? I first fell in love with makeup a couple years ago. I've always been into brows. In middle school, I use to pluck girls eyebrows during our lunch break because mine were so on fleek but makeup came later on, my best friend Ariana introduced me to mascara, concealer, eyebrow powder! I fell in love! I began teaching myself how to put makeup on with practice and YouTube videos.

What is a day in your life like? Well I just started spring semester today actually.  Knocking down 13 units in 2 days. All of the other days of the week will consist of studying, glam'n people up, and recording a video or two for my social media sites.

What is your daily beauty regime? Masks, exfoliation, and cleansing properly are all so important. My beauty regime revolves around skincare and yours should too! Cleansing twice a day, exfoliating once a week, and masks once a week or when your skin is having issues or it’s that time of the month. I take great care of my hair, all natural, haven't dyed it in 3 years, I clean and condition my hair everyday or every other day. Always using heat protectant.

What are your essential beauty products? My essential beauty products would be moisturizer, SPF when in the sun, a great mascara wand, and a blending sponge!

What inspires you to do what you do? What inspires me is the amount of love I get on social media for my work. It inspires me the most and makes me want to keep getting even better

If you could advise our readers of any one thing, what would it be? I would advise your readers that no matter what life throws at you, you should always chase after your dreams. Do what you're passionate about! Whatever that may be. Work hard, grind everyday, and make it happen. It's possible!

How did you hear about Æsthetica Cosmetics? I heard about Aesthetica Cosmetics through Instagram. I've seen there products and always wanted to try them

How often do you contour? Everyday - and always with Aesthetica's Contour series! Whether it's a full contour: cheeks, nose, chin, and forehead, or just bronzing up my temples and cheeks. If you don't contour, you need to hop on it, it'll change your life!

What is your advice to those that are new to contouring? My advice is to find a YouTube guru who is about the same shade of skin you are and copy and practice their contour routine. Even looking into the products they use and practicing until people start noticing and saying "Dang girl, your contour is on point!" I'm serious, practice makes perfect or something close to it.

What has been the most memorable moment of your career, thus far? My most memorable moment would probably be getting noticed by huge makeup influencers like Aesthetica Cosmetics, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Vegas Nay, Benefit Cosmetics, Makeup Geek Cosmetics, etc. It's so surreal and humbling that they would even notice me and my work.

What are you looking forward to most for the coming year? I am most looking forward to continuing my college education, better honing my makeup skills, continuing my weight loss journey, and becoming healthier after being diagnosed with a disease like Multiple Sclerosis.

What beauty secret can you share with the readers? A really good beauty secret is Nivea's Men After Shave Balm! The main ingredient is glycerin and that is found in most face primers. I saw NikkiTutorials on YouTube using it and tried it and it honestly works amazing! It has actually improved my skin too. Get the sensitive one! Super inexpensive alternative for a face primer.

 If you could work on any celebrity face, whose would it be and why? Well Beyonce is my girl! I actually know her! Nah, I wish. She's been my idol since I was a teenager and it's my mom's dream that I become her makeup artist lol. She knows I love her and she always says "Well can't Beyonce see your work on Instagram?". I hope I become experienced enough to one day work with her.

 Who’s on your playlist when you’re working? I honestly listen to everything and anything. If it's a new client, I tend to go towards more dance hits like Britney, Ciara, Beyonce. If it's one of my regulars, I love listening to rap and hiphop, the meaningful side. J Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Big Krit are my favs.

 What was the best concert or live performance you’ve ever attended and why? J Cole's recent Forest Hills Drive Tour. I've been to a ton of concerts, N'sync, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Jay Z but nothing really compared to J Cole's concert because I felt a true connection to his album. I knew every single song, every single word because it had a real impact on my life at the time and what I was dealing with. Music can speak to you, don't be afraid to listen!

Do you have any pets? Yes, a 6 year old Chihuahua named Coco and a 4 year old Pitbull named Mary Jane. I've had both since they were only 3 months old!
